How the index is built

  • Signals: time to shortlist on my own searches, the share of approached people who would consider a move, counter-offer rates, and advertised roles left open beyond 60 days.
  • Sample size: every row states n. Rows with fewer than 3 data points are not published.
  • Cadence: quarterly, with the method unchanged between editions so the change column means something.
