For candidates
Confidential, straight, and only when it's worth your time.
I work with the leaders who build, power and run data centres and AI infrastructure: construction, commissioning, power and grid, operations, GPU and platform engineering, and the first leaders for firms entering the Gulf. Most of the people I place weren't looking. Here is how I work, so you know what to expect.
Already working with me? Access your page
- Register once, and update your details in a minute.
- Hear about a seat before anyone hears your name; nothing is shared without your permission.
- Choose your own interview time, and see every stage on your own page.
Your details go nowhere without your say-so
- I never send your profile, or a description that could identify you, to a client without your permission for that specific role.
- Before I ask, I tell you the company, the project, the role and the package.
- You can change your mind at any time. You can ask me what I hold about you, and ask me to delete it. I'll confirm in writing.
- Register once, update your details in a minute, and choose your own interview times from your page, where you can see every stage.
You get the real package, in writing
Base salary, housing, transport, schooling, flights, bonus, notice, and what the employer will and won't cover on relocation. Before you interview, not after.
Moving to the Gulf
I've moved senior people into the Middle East from Europe and further afield. I'll answer the questions people actually ask:
- What the package really buys in Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Doha.
- Schools, housing and what a family move involves.
- Visas, medicals, attestation of degrees and how long it takes.
- The current security situation in the region, with sources, not reassurance.
- Tax, end-of-service benefits and what happens if the project changes.
If the move is wrong for you, I'll say so.
You never pay a fee
Not for introductions, not for advice, not for relocation help. Under UAE law (Federal Decree-Law 33 of 2021) no recruitment fee may be charged to a worker, and I apply the same rule everywhere.
Apply to a live role
Most of my searches are confidential and never advertised. The ones I can publish are below; each role page has its own application form.
No roles published right now. Join the talent network below and I'll call you when one fits.

Send me your details, and your CV if you have one to hand. I'll read it myself. If there's a role that fits now, I'll call you. If not, I'll keep you in mind for the next one, only with your permission. It works even when no role is live: most of my searches are never advertised.
Thank you. You're in the talent network.
I'll read your details myself. If there's a role that fits now, I'll call you, usually within a week. If not, I'll keep you in mind for the next one.
Want to know what your seat pays elsewhere? Ask for a confidential market check.
Confidential by default. Your profile is never shared with a client, or described in a way that could identify you, unless you have agreed to that specific role. You can ask what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, at lloyd@millerandwoodall.com.
Confidential market check
What your seat pays in another market, how many firms are hiring for it, and whether a move makes sense. Four fields, nothing shared with any employer, no obligation.
Thank you.
I'll send your market check in confidence: what the seat pays in that market, the sample size, and who is hiring for it. Nothing goes to any employer.
The Friday brief, candidate edition
Who is building and hiring leaders in data centres, power and AI infrastructure, and what the seats pay, by market. Reading so far: Insights for candidates.
Nearly there. Check your inbox and click the link to confirm. You're on the list after that; the next Friday brief lands on Friday morning, Dubai time.

Already in the talent network or in a search with me? Enter your email and I'll send a sign-in link to your page: your consents, the roles you have agreed to, and where each stands.
If we hold a page for this address, the link is on its way.
